Swollen Gums
Swollen gums can be a sign of gum disease (gingivitis).
Other prevalent signs of gum disease (gingivitis) are:
- Swollen, red gums that may bleed easily, but are not necessarily painful.
- Gums receding from the teeth.
- A build-up of calculus or tartar on your teeth.

If left unchecked for too long it can develop into periodontitis.
